Facial add-on enhancements:
+The following services can be added on to your Signature Facial treatment, please let our receptionist know when booking your appointment.
Extractions ($50)
An extraction is the process of clearing a clogged or compacted pore. Comedones (blackheads) are the most common reason for extractions. A blackhead is not necessarily "dirt in the pores" as many people think. It is a pore that has become clogged with excess sebum and dead skin cells. The dark spot which is visible on the surface of the skin is oil which has oxidized and darkened on exposure to the air, like when you slice an apple and allow it to sit out for a while. Pustules and pimples can also be extracted, depending on their size and depth.
Manual Lymphatic Stimulation ($50)
Our esthetician provides a relaxing facial massage to ease any tension that may have accumulated around the mouth, jaw, and temples. She then provides a detoxification of deeper tissues by performing manual lymphatic stimulation (MLS). MLS is a gentle, rhythmic massage that uses a circular motion over the lymph nodes to stimulate the lymphatic system, improving any puffiness or congestion.
Microplaning ($50)
A 15-minute treatment to remove vellus facial hair (aka “peach fuzz”) and provides a physical exfoliation to increase product penetration. This treatment can be done prior to any facial or peel to accentuate results from any treatment.
Other Facials we offer:
Back Facial ($199-$249)
A 45-minute treatment. Choose between our signature facial or traditional or a “Back Hydrafacial® MD”. Extractions are included as part of the treatment.

They can be used to sculpt the chin, enhance, and define the lips for a more youthful appearance. There are a variety of different fillers that can be used, and each injection is customized based on your individual desired result. Dermal fillers are popular among both men and women.

Hand Rejuvenation
Hand aging is characterized by a loss of tissue volume and elasticity of the skin which can increase the visibility of tendons, veins, and bones on the back of the hand. Over time the skin on the hands, like all areas of the body, experiences a decline in the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that help the skin stay plump and firm. Slowly, our elasticity declines as the tightly knot network of fibers under the skin begins to loosen. Years of exposure to UV rays and other free radicals can cause the skin on the hands to appear spotted, dull, wrinkled, and/or crepiness.
-
Treatment:
+We combine laser or light therapies such as the Cutera® IPL, with various fillers to rejuvenate the hands safely and beautifully. By improving the quality and texture of your skin we decrease the appearance of wrinkles and prominent veins. The procedure is relatively painless, requires no downtime, and results last for up to 1 year.
Cost: IPL hand treatment $150
IPL + filler treatment $580 and up.
HydraFacial MD®
The Hydrafacial MD® treatment is one of the most popular facials in the medical aesthetic industry. The Hydrafacial MD® utilizes vortex-fusion technology to cleanse, exfoliate, and extract impurities from the skin’s surface while infusing antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and peptides. Hydrafacial’s are pain free and provide immediate results! You can apply make-up directly after and return to your normal activities.
-
Treatment descriptions
-What is Vortex-Fusion Technology?
Vortex-fusion technology is the spiral design of the Hydropeel Tips, used in conjunction with the Hydrafacial proprietary vacuum technology and serums, that creates a vortex effect to easily dislodge and remove impurities while simultaneously delivering hydrating skin solutions.
The Treatment (3 Steps)
Step 1: Cleanse + Peel
The first step gently cleanses and exfoliates the outer most layer of the skin to remove any makeup, debris, and dead skin cells.
Step 2: Extract + Hydrate
We uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing surfacing. We remove debris from pores with painless suction and nourish the skin with intense moisturizers.
Step 3: Fuse + Protect
We then saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximize your glow. As a result, this improves acne, fine lines, wrinkles, clogged pores, oily skin, and more. We complete the treatment by applying a layer of moisturizer, lip balm and protective sunscreen.
How often will I need a HydraFacial MD® treatment?
The frequency depends on the individual needs of the patient. We recommend one treatment a month for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, texture, and congested skin. For the acne patient we recommend two Hydrafacial’s per month paired with a focused medical-grade skincare regimen until acne is under control.
Is the HydraFacial MD® right for you?
Yes! This one-of-a-kind medical facial addresses all skincare needs and is safe on all skin types!
Benefits:

This treatment is a great add-on to any facial treatment and can instantly detox skin, reduce fluid retention and lengthen treatment results leaving a natural contour to the face.
LED Light Therapy
Red Light can be performed to increase circulation, promote collagen production and can reduce dryness. Blue light is optimal for killing P. acne bacteria, reducing acne and minimizing pores.
High Frequency Treatment
High frequency treatment oxygenates the skin producing an antiseptic effect. It can also stimulate circulation and cell metabolism. It is great for reducing pore size, can minimize acne breakouts, fine lines and wrinkles, treat puffy eyes and improve dark circles.
Microplaning

The IPL is a non-invasive treatment that targets brown spots, redness, acne and sun damaged skin. The IPL can be performed on the face, neck, chest, forearms and hands.
-
Frequent Questions:
+What areas can be treated?
The IPL is ideal for any part of your face, neck, décolleté, arms, and hands with skin redness or brown spots.
What does the treatment feel like?
When the pulse of light is delivered, patients will experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Our licensed providers will apply gel to cool the skin before treating. Topical numbing is not required.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed depends multiple factors. Our Aesthetic Nurse or Nurse Practitioner will determine the number of treatments required to achieve your specific goals during the consultation.
What can I expect after treatment?
Immediately following the treatment your skin may look red, appear swollen and may feel hot and tingling. This is completely normal; we provide you with ice packs to cool your skin and recommend icing until the heat is gone. Hyperpigmented areas, or brown spots may darken and flake off. Please keep in mind flaking of the darkened spots does not always occur.
Will the spots and redness reappear over time?
New brown spots, or hyperpigmentation may appear with new sun damage; however they can be treated.
What to avoid:
Excessive exercise for 24 hours.
Hot baths or showers; including hot tubs and steam rooms for two (2) days.

Kybella®
This is an injectable drug by Allergan that is FDA- approved for the treatment of submental fullness (double chin). Kybella® is administered as a series of injections. It is safe and effective in permanently eliminating fat by destroying the unwanted fat cells. Submental fullness may be caused by weight gain, genetics, or aging. This treatment is perfect for individuals that may not be able to optimally reduce fullness beneath the chin with diet and exercise.
-
Frequent Questions:
+How does Kybella® administered?
Kybella® is injected into the fat beneath the chin, permanently destroying fat cells. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down fat. Your body’s natural metabolism then processes the fat cleared from the treatment area. As a result, there’s a noticeable difference in reduction in fullness beneath the chin. Treatments are individually tailored.
What can I expect during treatment?
Prior to treatment ‘before’ photos will be obtained. A grid will be stickered to the treatment area to allow for consistent delivery of product. The injection time may take approximately 15-20 minutes. To help alleviate discomfort, numbing cream and ice packs will be applied prior and post injecting. After injection you will experience a warm sensation and swelling beneath the chin. This is a normal response as the fat cells are being destroyed.
What are the possible side effects?
Discomfort may last for one to two days. Swelling beneath the chin may last for three to seven days. Other possible side effects may include bruising, redness, and numbness. Side effects are typically temporary and resolve on their own.
Am I a candidate for Kybella?
Ideal candidates are those with moderate to severe submental fullness/fat below the chin. People with moderate/severe skin laxity are not ideal candidates for Kybella®, as the product targets and destroys fat cells. Kybella® is less invasive than surgery, making it a great alternative for patients. Our Aesthetic Nurses will be able to provide a individualized treatment plan during your consultation.
Laser Hair Removal
We are equipped with Cutera® CoolGlide technology of a 1064 nd yag to reduce dark hair safely on the face and body. This laser is the best laser hair reduction system on the market for all skin types and tones, from light to dark, including tanned patients because of its use of longer wavelengths. The Cutera® allows for extremely effective, safe, and permanent results on all areas of the body. To boost efficacy of treatments, it is best to shave prior to treatments and refrain from tweezing/waxing while you receive laser hair removal treatments.
-
Frequent Questions:
-How many treatments will I need to see results?
Several factors come into consideration when estimating how many sessions will be needed, such as: hair thickness, area treated, and your hair’s growth cycle. Sessions are spaced out anywhere from four to six weeks to allow for your hair’s growth cycle to occur.
Hair follicles are targeted effectively during the hair’s growth stage, and not all hairs go through this growth stage at the same time. During the consult we will review these factors with you.
Is laser hair removal painful? The Cutera® systems are specially designed to cool and soothe as they glide along your skin. When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. The laser’s hand piece has an innovative cooling design made to increase patient comfort and minimizes risk of side effects. No local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required; however topical numbing agents, such as emla cream, can be applied prior to treatment. These products can be found over the counter at places like Walgreens, Rite Aid or CVS.
How does this laser hair removal treatment compare with electrolysis?
Electrolysis is a tedious, invasive, and painful process that involves inserting a needle into each individual hair follicle and delivering an electrical charge to them one at a time. Electrolysis often requires years of treatments at regular intervals. By delivering light energy to hundreds of hair follicles at a time, the Cutera systems effectively treat an area in just seconds that would take over an hour with electrolysis.
Am I an ideal candidate for laser hair removal?
Individuals of all skin types are able to enjoy benefits of laser hair removal. The energy in the laser is made to target pigment so the hair color must be darker than the skin color for effective hair removal. Hair that is light in color: grey, fine blonde, and/or red, will not be targeted. Is laser hair removal permanent?
The Cutera® CoolGlide offers permanent hair reduction for lasting results and multiple treatments are needed to effectively treat all hair follicles in a given area. What can I expect after treatment?
Skin may be red in color or have bumps in the area treated. Mild swelling may occur. This is alleviated with cold compresses. Strictly following aftercare instructions greatly reduces risk of any lasting side effects.
Laser Treatment for Redness
The Cutera®Laser Genesis combined with the Limelight™ IPL procedure is the preferred treatment for Rosacea or facial redness. Also known as a 2D for the two depths of treatment which destroys blood vessels, minimizes large pores, and stimulates collagen, multiple treatments are necessary for best results.
-
Frequent Questions:
-What is diffuse redness?
Diffuse redness is a general appearance of facial redness, such as rosy cheeks. This condition is caused by dilated capillaries, resulting in the appearance of general redness, not discrete, well-defined vessels. The most affected areas are the nose, forehead, and cheeks.
Diffuse redness is often associated with a condition called rosacea. The laser genesis will help your appearance by gently treating and reducing this condition.
What does the treatment feel like?
Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the treatment. You can immediately return to normal activities, ensuring you have applied sunscreen in treated area if participating in outdoor activities.
Vascular Therapy: face and body treatment
The Cutera® laser treats a broad range of vessels quickly, safely, and effectively. The laser delivers pulses of light energy to trigger the blood within the vein to coagulate, (change to a solid, or semi-solid state), destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. As a result, the blood flow returns from where it came eliminating the vessel.
Who can be treated?
People of all skin tones can be treated. Pregnant women or those trying to get pregnant may not be treated. Individuals with a history of cold sores may require prophylactic medication.
What kind of veins can be treated?
Small facial veins can be treated, spider veins and large blue leg veins can also be treated. A careful evaluation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses or Nurse Practitioners will determine which vessels which can be treated.
What are possible side effects?
Because we are treating with an energy heat source, there is a risk of redness, swelling, tenderness, and possible blister. If a blister forms, keep site clean, moist with an ointment such as Aquaphor or Neosporin. The site will heal.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed depends on the number, color, and size of the vessels being treated. Our Aesthetic Nurse or Nurse Practitioner will determine the number of treatments during your consultation.
What can I expect after treatment?
Immediately following these treatments, your skin may experience slight redness and be warm to touch. There is minimal risk and no recovery period needed. However, it is important to follow after-care instructions given to you, such as avoiding unnecessary sun exposure, and wearing sunscreen daily, and avoiding vigorous activity for the first 24 hours after treatment.
How soon can I see results?
Some results can be seen immediately, or at times two-six weeks later.
How to prepare for any laser treatment:
Do not use Retin-A on the treatment area for at least two (2) days before or after any laser treatment unless otherwise instructed.
Avoid Excessive exercise for 24 hours and hot baths or showers. Including hot tubs and steam rooms for two (2) days.
Always wear sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF) and reapply often.
Benefits:
Safely and gently treats rosacea.
Improves appearance of acne scarring.
Stimulates production of collagen and elastin.
Improves the appearance of fine line wrinkles.
Naturally promotes a healthy glow.
Improves pore size.
Melasma Laser Treatment
We can safely and effectively treat melasma with the Revlite® SI Q-switched Nd-YAG laser. Q-Switched lasers produce a special wavelength of light that is absorbed by pigmented lesions. The light vibrates and shatters the pigment, breaking the melanin into micro-particles to be absorbed by the body without overheating the skin.
-
Frequent Questions:
+What is Melasma?
Melasma is a skin condition characterized by brown or blue-gray patches or freckle-like spots. It is often called the “mask of pregnancy.” Melasma is a hormonally induced pigmentation condition generally characterized by relatively symmetrical pattern with irregular border of dark pigmentation on the face often around the eyes, cheek, lip, chin or brow.
What can I expect during treatment:
Many people describe a tingling and warming sensation. Topical anesthesia not necessary.
Multiple treatments are best in combination with skin lightening products.
Laser Tattoo Remvoal
Tattoos are designed to last forever, but as more people seek reversal of these deeply embedded ink deposits, technology has kept pace with advanced methods of safety and efficacy. The most innovative technology comes in the form of the Revlite® Q-Switched laser. Finding an experienced provider is an essential first step for laser tattoo removal. Sharing your reason(s) for wanting a tattoo removed can be a vulnerable experience. Our Aesthetic Nurse Practitioners and Nurses are here to help guide and support you along the way.
-
Frequent Questions:
+The Revlite® features four wavelengths to target blue, black, red to orange, purple, green, and sky-blue ink. The light energy shatters the ink into particles which are absorbed by the body through the lymphatic system and excreted through the urine. Black ink resolves the quickest but still requires multiple treatments. Tattoo treatments range anywhere from 5 to 15 sessions.
The DESCRIBE® PFD Patch is an accessory to laser tattoo removal. When used with traditional laser treatments, it allows for a faster, safer, and more effective tattoo removal experience. Ask our Laser Nurse Specialists for more information.
What to expect during treatment:
The short light energy pulses feel like the snaps of a small rubber followed by a warm sensation. A temporary whitening or “frosting” may occur following the first treatment. Frosting is a white residue which appears after the first treatment. The frosting is caused by small gas bubbles, which appear white, rising to the surface of your skin after being treated with the tattoo-removal laser. This white frosting is caused by rapid local healing of the treatment area. Although tattoo frosting may look alarming, it is a completely natural byproduct of the tattoo removal process and is not a cause for concern.
Microneedling
Microneedling is unique handheld device that administers controlled micro-injuries to the skin using tiny needles. These micro-injuries, in turn, cause the body to produce new collagen and elastin, resulting in a thicker epidermis. This helps to treat the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, and improve the skin’s texture, tone and color. The end result is soft, healthy, younger looking skin.
-
Frequent Questions:
-What conditions can be treated with microneedling?
Mild-moderate Acne scars
Traumatic scars
Uneven skin texture & tone
Stretch marks
Hyperpigmentation
What are the benefits of microneedling? Not only does microneedling aid in skin rejuvenation, but the micro-injuries created by the device allows for heightened absorption and effectiveness of topical medical grade creams as the active ingredients are able to penetrate deeper in the skin.
What areas on the body can be treated?
Microneedling is safe to be performed on all parts of the body, and on any skin type.
What to expect during treatment?
The entire procedure varies from 15-30 minutes depending on area. Prior to start, topical medical grade numbing gel is applied. The proper treatment depth is then chosen depending on your skincare needs. We swiftly glide our microneedling device across the treatment area direction until finished. The sensation has been described as sandpaper being moved across the skin.
How long is the downtime associated with this treatment?
Downtime varies between two to four days. Immediately following treatment, the skin in the treated area will be bright red. We recommend our patients to go straight home and by the second day, you will look slightly sunburned. Some people are completely healed within 24hours. Post treatment healing serums are applied to help catalyze this process.
How soon until I see results?
An immediate “glow” to the skin appears as the new collagen production takes place, results can continue to develop up to six months after treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments vary depending on severity of unique needs of the patient. Patients requiring mild correction may only need one treatment annually for best results. Whereas patients requiring moderate-severe correction may need to repeat additional treatments six to eight weeks apart for best results.
Neuromodulator
Neuromodulators, such as Botox® Cosmetics, block the signal from the nerves to the muscles that are responsible for deep lines from repetitive movement in the forehead, lip and other areas of expression in the face.
-
Frequent Questions:
+What can I expect during treatment?
Our medical providers tailor the treatment to your goals and needs, they will assess the areas you are interested in treating and determine the appropriate number of units needed. Patients receiving Botox® Cosmetic report the injections feel like a pinch.
